In my aesthetic plastic surgery practice breast augmentation surgery is among the most common procedures that I perform. When I see patients at their initial consultation, my job is to inform them of all their possible options, and to help them develop the best operative plan to meet their surgical goals. The most common questions that I get asked tend to be about implant shape and fill volume, the possible need for a combination procedure with a breast lift, and whether or not someone is a candidate for fat grafting.
Patients will often come in with different amounts of previous knowledge based on items they have read online or from speaking with people who have undergone treatment themselves. The internet can be a great resource for patients to learn about surgical procedures, but the sheer volume of information available can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Each patient is unique and their treatment plan should be customized to their anatomy as well as their expectations. My goal is to have my patients as informed as possible before their Ottawa plastic surgery day so that they can feel empowered and confident about their treatment decisions.
If you are considering breast augmentation surgery, or would just like to learn more about what treatment options are available, I would be more than happy to speak with you in person at a consultation.
