What can I expect for my recovery?

Brachioplasty is performed as day surgery and patients are able to go home the same day as their procedure. Surgical dressings are left on until the first follow-up visit one week after surgery. Patients usually take 2 weeks off of work after surgery, although heavy lifting and strenuous exercise are restricted for 1 month post-operatively.
